Overview

Complete overhaul of an instalment payment platform and tech organisation restructuring

Django

Description

Django is an instalment payment app allowing users to aggregate their bank accounts, analyse transactions, and finance purchases in multiple instalments. Acquired by La Banque Postale, the product faced major technical debt and an unstructured tech organisation. GettingApp stepped in to make the platform sustainable and scalable.

Challenge

When GettingApp intervened, Django had just been acquired by La Banque Postale. The product existed but faced critical blockers: heavy technical debt, a barely maintainable codebase, a poorly structured tech organisation, and an inability to scale teams efficiently. The challenge was not just to ship features, but to make the platform viable long-term.
